Beauty by Tellie Attends: Pretty in Pinkbox
I'm going to be completely honest here: I don't buy Pinkbox products. I once bought a plain ole' bow headband and immediately shucked it out. It was kiddie-size :[ I've gone on thinking that all they ever carried were toddler stuff, so I usually just ignore the stall.
Cue a few years later: Blair Waldorfication takes the hairstyling world by storm. Suddenly the cutesy-tootsey Pinkbox designs are more than mainstream. I'm glad I got invited to this event. Pinkbox has the CUTEST stuff that my years of prejudice have blinded me to.

I can't believe how *cute* the whole event was! Read more to find out about the rest :)
Here's my place setting. I was seated with other beauty bloggers and I wish I had photos of the event coverage because I wasn't able to take a picture of our table :(
Whimsical-Cute = consistent with PInkbox's aesthetic |
This whole thing was decorated to the nines!
Pretty in Pinkbox stage |
Ultimately, this princessy setup set the stage for the launch. The agenda was short and sweet, which is good because I hate it when speakers take advantage of an audience and drone oooon and ooon, forever and ever amen. The brevity allowed me to remember everything without jotting down notes- and I'm dead without my notes.
Anyhoo, four exciting news from Pinkbox!
- Li'l Belle Infant Line - Baby-safe clips and ties are now available! Funny, I thought this was out since forever, but it's only being launched now. And what a good "thing" too, this headband is the cutest!

- Handmade Collection - Featuring handmade pieces (duh) with new designs out every week! For the girl who truly wants to stand out, I think this is something you'd all love to get into. Pinkbox designs are outrageously cute all on their own, and to get weekly exclusives is the ultimate way to crown your crowning glory.

- Kiddie Salon - Pinkbox now offers a mobile party setup featuring hair styling, nail art and glitter tattoo. Uhm. HELLO?! Can I do this for my next birthday?
- Verniece Enciso, Brand Ambassador and Muse - PURFECT! I think Verniece is perfect for Pinkbox! Her dainty style and her gorgeous big hair go so well with the brand. Fashion bloggers seem to have more opportunities and that is just such a dream. Seeing her accomplish all of this at 18 makes me even more motivated to prettify and professionalize my blog. I need a website person (see how poorly I do with the tech side of things?). Please email me with a proposal! :)

I got to take a couple of pictures with the early birds. They're bloggers I look up to so I am quite proud to flaunt these pictures!
Tellie and Kumi |
Kumi of Loving Sunshine is just GUH! She looks so fresh even without a stitch of makeup on. I guess it's all her positivity shining through!
Tellie and Tara |
Miz Tara of Chronicles of Vanity, my Team Captain in the Tara-Marj chapter of the Big Mascara Faceoff, is another positive role model. I think it's funny how she always talks about being old- HELLO?! She doesn't even look her age. And while her posts are quite mature and introspective sometimes, she's one of those bloggers who seem to never grow old because of their positivity.
Dawn and Tellie at the photobooth |
It's my first time to meet Dawn of Peachy Pink Sisters and she's sooo nice, funny and outgoing! We got down to talking and are hopefully gonna collaborate pretty soon. Watch out for it! :D
Tellie spazzing out over Liz |
Dear Liz,
I hope you forgive my spastic fan-girling. I'm sorry I took up so much of your time in getting our shot right. I know this is your event and you're extra busy here so THANK YOU heaps for humoring my derpness.
RECAP:
The event was short and sweet! I loved the goodies and am pretty excited to see Pinkbox's new products succeed. I really hope I can get the Kiddie Salon even if I'm not a kid anymore, hahaha!
I do apologize for this late post. It was something that got procrastinated and cut off before my hiatus. On the bright side, I can post the recently-released event highlights video, yay!
