Hello everyone! Memebox is still up and kicking, they've sent me a new box, the Superbox #51 "My Cute Wishlist 2". Of course I did a same day unboxing. Of course.
Memebox (us.memebox.com) is a Korean beauty subscription brand that ships to many countries, including the Philippines! What's unique about it is that it's not a monthly recurring subscription. You can't buy 3 or 6 month packages but instead do live shopping, almost like a normal e-commerce shop. Each restocking wave features a whole lot of new boxes and a handful of previous favorites.
There are two general types of boxes: Memebox and Superbox. A Memebox has 4-8 deluxe to full-size products while a Superbox contains only full-size products. Memeboxes are sometimes themed, these are Special Edition Memeboxes (not exclusively full-sized!) A Luckybox, on the other hand, is sort of like a fan-favorite Superbox (all full-sized!)

My Cute Wishlist is an ongoing Superbox theme. I received #2 out of the 4 released editions. This is my first box to have a mix of cosmetics and skincare- me likey! Basically, the theme is all about everything cute, whether it's cute packaging, cute names or cute concepts. Thinking about it, it definitely delivered. I like how Memebox is generally right on the mark with their labelling: it helps soothe one's mind because they do not post the box contents on site.

This is, hands down, my favorite item. Evas Vitamin Cleansing Dessert is a thick cream cleanser that promises to remove even makeup! I have tried the Pond's Cold Cream a while back before and didn't exactly enjoy the milky, soapless feeling. I suppose this would be the same but I am still the most excited for it nonetheless!
I like how it looks moussey, although an initial swab reveals that it's actually very sticky and gunky. I'd have to get back to you guys on how that affects makeup removal. I'm nervous about ants because the texture and super sweet smell has me thinking that it has real sugar in it :))

Out of all the shades of It's Skin Babyface Petit Blusher Memebox gave out, 02 Baby Lavender piques me the most. I really just can't imagine what kind of look a lavender blush gives someone! I feel like it'd be great for my paler or darker looks? I dont' know!
I'm still pleased enough with Baby Rose to put it at the second spot because I've generally had success with rosy blushes. It's a bit deeper than what I normally wear so I hope I won't look burnt in this.
And also, who can resist that translucent, chubby, baby angel? Even Satan would coo at that little thing :3

| The YEON Style Y Fruity Swirl Lip Balm in 02 Orange Twist, USD 8. |
I haven't felt excited about lip balms or lip glosses in a while but this pot of fruity jelly has reinvigorated my interest. I'm hoping that it's not too messy or runny on the lips because I prefer a bit more waxiness to my jar balms. The heat makes it such a mess to retouch goopy balms during the day.

| SaintPeau Collagen Pudding Sleeping Pack, USD 36 / 100g. |
I haven't been deeply impressed with collagen skincare products as I don't notice a huge difference in my skin condition attributable to collagen, specifically. I'm excited about SaintPeau Collagen Pudding (love puddings!) purely as a sleeping pack. I've broken out from the last two packs I've tried so I'm praaaaaying I don't break out on this one.
While the product is not necessarily exciting, LOOK AT THAT LABEL. The cleanser might have had a cute concept, and the blush might have had cute packaging; but this pack has the best label of all. I'm feeling very giddy about how truly "cute" everything's been so far!

I received a sample lip patch from Etude House last year and still haven't gotten around to using it, hahaha. I like lip patches. They look cute and they're so gelatinous *squish squish*
My lips are super dry and the flakes have a stiff, almost shellacked feel to them. I'd love to see how this helps, but unfortunately it's relegated pretty low on my list as I already have a few.

This smells really nice and comes in a larger than normal tube (60ml vs 10-30ml). I'm putting it last because the RoseMine lip tint irritated me a bit so I'm not sure if I'm okay with their formulations.
I'm not too psyched about hand creams and in terms of the My Cute Wishlist theme, this is the least cute item thus LAST on my list.

My Cute Wishlist is an absolutely perfect box for people like ME who like to fuss and coo and caw at cute things. It's a great way to learn and discover the latest in the field of cute as local options don't dare to go as cutesy as Korean brands. I mean, if something like Etude House or Tony Moly was built in the Philippines a few years back, I don't think it would have been taken seriously.
Since the emphasis is merely cuteness, whether by concept, by name or by packaging, you might not get a bunch or reliable staples. In that regard, I'm a bit wary of doing my normal ACK GO BUY IT, IT'S PERF FOR EVERYONE, IMMA DIE! review. This box, like most subscription boxes, is reserved for those who are adventurous enough to enjoy the uncertainty. If you're hoping for something very specific, (and cuteness isn't it) I suggest you look elsewhere.
