What makes a millenial? Jeunesse Anion Millenial Fair
Some months back I attended the Jeunesse Anion Millenial Fair. I was laughing to myself thinking how ironic I'd be invited (and attend) such an event when I always ironically make fun of millenials. This is a generation of privilege. Millenials have a wealth of information at our fingertips yet we still fall prey to so much misinformation. We have the luxury of worrying about what we do to our bodies and how they can affect us in the long run, whereas older generations simply had to make do with the limited information they had.
To set the record straight, Jeunesse Anion hosted the Jeunesse Anion Millenial fair where experts shared their unique insight into each of their fields of expertise. Dr. Faith Suluen, OB GYN, talked about all the factors that come into play when it comes to reproductive health. Seemingly unrelated things in our life such as sleep, diet and stress levels greatly affect our cycle regularity and overall reproductive health, which is why Camille Romero was on board to talk about diet and Nicole Romero shared beauty tips. All in all, this rounded up the message that health is holistic; it starts from the inside, involves all aspects of life and radiates outward.
With this fair, they're releasing the Ultra Thin Super Absorbent Day Pad (PHP 14/pc). Jeunesse Anion sanitary pads are known for their signature anion chip - a negatively charged patch of ions in the center which aims to reduce symptoms of PMS such as odor, inflammation, irritation, bloatedness and cramps. I am blessed with short periods and manageable PMS symptoms, but friends who deal with worse say they do feel a difference!
The Ultra Day Pads are already pretty thin, but the Ultra Thin Day Pads are near paper-like! They're individually-wrapped so it is my mobile option. I leave a few in the car and one always in my purse. I love how the one in my purse doesn't get beat up. Currently, the lineup boasts of a well-rounded selection: Panty Liner, Ultra Day Pad, Ultra Day Non-Wing, Ultra Night Pad, All Night, and the latest: Ultra Thin Day Pad.
Camille Romero on the other hand, shared an interesting fresh fruit smoothie highlighting the Old Orchard Cranberry Juice, which is particularly good for those who need to cleanse. I hate that I lost her red pesto recipe featuring Clara Ole Tomato Sauce and Donya Helena Olive Oil.
I couldn't stay for Nicole Romero's talk, but the bag for that segment contained Jergens Hydrating Coconut Moisturizer, Jergens Daily Moisture Moisturizer, Jergens Antibacterial Soap, Jergens Mild Soap, Caronia Hand Sanitizer and Caronia Nourishing Creme. I love this message, that beauty isn't necessarily about the cover ups and masks, but good, clean skin.
Jeunesse Anion Pads are available online through jeunesseanion.com, Watson's Personal Care Stores, SM Department Stores and selected Mercury Drug outlets.
